A wallet, or purse, as the most important small bag in our daily life, has brought a lot of benefits to us. 
A wallet is portable and we can always take it with us. We can put our money, credit cards, bank cards and photos into a wallet. It also can be used as a decoration. So, a purse you choose can reflect your style, and a suitable purse can show your sense to fashion. Then, how to select a wallet that suits you? I think you could take the following 3 factors into consideration.

1. Pattern. Wallets are divided into two categories in style: long and short. Longer purses give the impression of elegance and intellectuality, but they are not portable. When you want to take a small bag with you, the volume of the long purse will be a problem. Short ones have a much smaller volume. Although they can't equal long ones in ladylike appearance, they are better in that they bear a succinct style. Both long and short wallets can be twofold or threefold. Generally speaking, twofold short purses are more suitable to men. As for women, it is advised that threefold purses are better. Though much thicker, they are more practical.

2. Color. Color is also regarded as an important factor when purchasing a wallet. As a general rule, gold, argentite and brown wallets have the function of bringing in wealth, while purple and red ones could show that you have an elegant taste. Orange, green and light yellow ones give the feeling of youthful vigor, while black and white ones seem graceful. Apart from those pure-colored wallets, you can also choose some patterned purses with classical logo which could show your own style.

3. Texture. You must pay attention to the texture. Compared to handbags, wallets are more frequently used and can be worn out easily, so the texture is of great importance. If the wallet is not of high quality, then the leather will be cracked after it has been used for some time. In my opinion, you should not care too much about money if you really want to buy a purse of high quality.
