Choose the Right Belt for Man

Every time when it is my boyfriend's birthday or Christmas, watches are always the first ideal gift that pops into my mind. This year, I want to surprise him with a different gift. After repeated comparison of possible options, men's belt becomes my final decision. After all, Belt is another important fashion accessory for men except watches. Here I'd like to share my experience of purchasing the right belt with those ladies who want to choose belt as a gift for their men.

- Materials should always be the first thing you need to pay attention to, no matter what kind of goods you are buying. For men's belts, leather is the most common material. Those made from superior leather can last for a long time. Others made from artificial leather or PU leather work not as well as genuine leather.
- The size should be fit for your man's waist size. So it is important to know your man's waist size before you buy a belt. Bear in mind that the belt should be neither too big nor too small. A belt that is too big will have too much strap left, which may have a negative impact on the look. A belt that is too small will make people feel uncomfortable.
- Getting the right width is also important when choosing a belt. Since different pants have different size of belt loops, you have to choose one that can be used for every pant. It should not be too wide or too narrow. A belt that is too wide can't be squeezed into the loops, while a belt that is too narrow will look lost within the loops.
When you go to the market, you will find a variety of men's belts available. So do remember the three criteria which are good quality, appropriate size and width, you will find the right belt soon.
